Daxin India, represented by CA Gulam Mohammad, managing partner of Indian member firm, participated in the Audit Quality Event organized by the Forum of Firms (FOF) in Mumbai, India on November 30, 2023. The FOF is an independent association of international networks of firms that perform transnational audits.
Key focus of Audit Quality Event in Mumbai was to strengthen firms systems of audit quality management through a robust, proactive and effective approach. The event provided an update on some global developments and trend lines for the profession. It discussed the ISQM – Practical Insights – Lessons Learned to Date and way to continue the implementation journey. The thrust of event was to help audit firms in adopting a risk-based and integrated quality management approach at firm-level. The speakers consists head of regulatory bodies of Indian audit profession as well as professional experts.
Head of the premier organizations responsible to regulate audit profession in India, Dr Ajay Bhushan Prasad Pandey - Chairman of the National Financial Reporting Authority (NFRA), India and CA Aniket Sunil Talati - President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) shared their views about regulatory expectations.
Daxin India representative CA Gulam Mohammad appreciated the FOF team for time and effort put into preparing for such an insightful event and thanked them for invaluable contribution towards the shared goals. Further, he reiterated the Daxin commitment towards audit quality and professional excellence. The Daxin guidelines strive constantly to adopt a risk-oriented quality management method, apply internal control theory, establish and improve and effectively operate a unified quality management system for the Daxin Group.
